Quality Instruction
so hands can create what
the mind imagines

EDUCATION
The Goal of the Fine Arts School is to maintain an environment of learning for all ages in both formal and informal settings. We accomplish this by providing learning experiences which lead to awareness, curiosity, visual sensitivity, personal satisfaction and inspiration. Quality-inspired instruction is essential in the effort to make the hands create what the mind can imagine. We encourage our community to discover the artist within themselves and become lifelong students of the arts.

Our state-of-the-art facilities include:

  • Adult pottery studio equipped with electric wheels, slab roller and extruder; four indoor electric kilns; and two outdoor gas-fired Raku kilns
  • Children's pottery studio with slab roller, extruder, and wheels for children
  • Two children's art rooms, which are used for classes in two-dimensional media such as drawing and painting
  • One adult multi-use classroom for drawing, painting, sculpture, and stained glass

All of our spacious classrooms have the latest equipment, from easels to glass grinders, sturdy worktables for children and adults, and storage and sink facilities. Our favorably lit, maintained, and amply equpiied facilities provide maximum creative possibilities for children and adults.
